As a proud northerner with a penchant for local food and charming countryside locations, my recent stay at La Fosse at Cranborne was truly a delightful experience. the hotel's restaurant not only serves delicious local, seasonal food but also boasts an award-winning reputation. Upon arrival, my partner and I were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who immediately made us feel at home. We decided to indulge in the tasting menu, which we found to be exceptional in both quality and value. Each dish showcased the chef's dedication to using the freshest ingredients, with a particular highlight being the Dorset cheeses which impressed this northerner's taste buds. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, providing the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. We savored every bite of our meal, accompanied by complementary wines that complemented the flavors perfectly. To the culinary delights, the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the picturesque Wiltshire countryside. We took advantage of the nearby Cranborne Estate walk, which offered stunning views of Cranborne Manor and allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the area.
